My love of the industry started in 2000, when my children became school age I decided to take the plunge.  I first qualified with Magnetic Gel & Acrylic.  Which soon followed with beauty therapy.

My favourite nail colour - Purple & Green is always top of the list, especially lime green glitters.

My career ambitions & vision - To continue and constantly improve my successful salon.  Continue to grow sales of my branded products; Vu Nail Systems. Continue to teach and give back to our industry.  Heading towards becoming a VTCT centre.

My inspirations within the industry - This award goes to Dean Fell, his love and knowledge of the industry securely embedded in me along with his support with the salon, creating & building the nail brand over our many interesting and fun years we have worked together.

Teaching & watching our nail techs grow their own business is not only an inspiration but an honour.

Outside of work I love spending time with my family

Outside of work I simply love going on holidays

I am a mother to 4 children aged 8-18 and I am a member of the VuCrew! 
I have been a nail technician for 5 years, I was a client of RJ Vu and decided that I would like to give the nail extension course a go. I have always been a creative person and with my youngest soon becoming school age, I felt it was something I might be able to do occasionally to earn an extra little income and work around the children. I fell in love with nails and learning and went on to do multiple diplomas including facial waxing, brow and lash tinting and pedicures. I then took the leap to return to college and complete a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in beauty therapy massage, a level 3 Certificate in Fashion and Photographic and a level 4 certificate in laser and IPL treatments.
I love lots of aspects of what I have learned and there are areas I’d like to spend more time on, but my first love is always nails.

My career ambition & vision - To own my own salon in Dorset, using Vu Nail Systems, and teaching too.
Industry inspiration - In my eyes Dean and Tracy are such an inspiration to me because of the fantastic system they have developed and their love for nails, and for sharing that with so many people and for bringing me into this industry

Outside of work I like to spend more time on creativity and just playing around with nails in my spare time (if I ever get any)

I started in the Industry in 2003, my first qualifications with LCN 3 Phase Gel and Ez-flow Acrylic. 

My favourite products - Vu Nail Systems Gel & Acrylic and Elemis Skincare

My favourite technique / treatment - Even though my day to day work is Gel based, my heart will always be with Acrylic, I love working with it and creating formed sculptures.

My favourite nail colour - I will always gravitate towards Greens & Purples so my favs are Cucumber Sorbet, Key Lime Pie and Ube by Vu Nail Systems

My career ambition & vision - I'm happy where I am in the industry, I enjoy my job and love teaching budding nail techs

My Inspirations with in the industry - Definitely Mrs Tracy Nash, Director of Vu Nail Systems, watching someone manage a successful salon, create & launch a nail brand plus a training academy whilst being a Mum, wife and friend.

Outside of work I have a passion for painting, I am addicted to home learning but top of the list is going on holidays; as many as possible.

I’ve been a member of The Vu Crew since the beginning, considering my mum is the lovely lady that owns it! I followed in my mum’s footsteps when I was around 16 and discovered I had a love for nails and creativity within nails. I completed my training with Vu Nail Systems and have worked my way up within the industry and now have a fantastic client base who trust me to create bespoke designs on their nails. 

Alongside nails and beauty I also have a passion for Musical Theatre, as well as owning my own Children’s Entertainment business. The saying ‘no rest for the wicked’ tends to sit well with me! 

I love being a part of the team here at RJ Vu, working with my mum and the people that have watched me grow as both a nail technician and a person is very fulfilling. I’m excited to see where my journey takes me next and look forward to continuing to grow as a nail artist.
